TikTok’s favourite skincare brand has just rebranded, and we’re thrilled to bring you the latest news that TBH Skincare will now be known as ‘The Breakout Hack’. Still the same products and team your FYP has known to love, the business will be rebranding in order to maintain global consistency for an exciting new chapter in the brand’s journey. Already flourishing across the seas over in the UK, the brand is readily preparing for a launch into the USA, and what better way to mark the occasion than with a bold new name that perfectly captures the heart of the brand itself.

You might remember the incredibly viral ‘Gen Z Boss and a Mini’ video that took social media by storm, and for good reason. It was a stark reminder that women can have fun in the workplace AND be incredibly successful, not a new concept for us at en-route, but for the rest of the world, it seemed to break a generational glass ceiling. Founder Rachael Wilde and the team behind ‘The Breakout Hack’ proved this to be all too true, capitalising on the ‘meme’ behind the phrase, and boosting their brand from the shelf, to a household name.

And after 6 years in business and a mammoth multi-million dollar brand valuation in 2024, the decision to take the trusted household beauty name and make brand new wasn’t an easy one for the founder, who called the change “time-consuming, expensive and scary”, and revealed the upfront investment for the new branding cost “about $500,000”.

“Our brand essence will remain exactly the same,” Founder Rachael Wilde said, “we just have a shiny new name”.

So, here’s to ‘The Breakout Hack’s’ exciting new chapter, whilst we applaud the team’s commitment to bringing Aussie beauty across the globe, we’ll continue loving the brand’s acne-safe, sensitive skin approved formulas.
