Franca has unveiled their new weeknight offering Jazz & Josper, happening every Wednesday, diners are invited to step back in time to enjoy live jazz from 7PM alongside a $75 two-course set menu. The evening begins with a choice of pan-fried gnocchi with mushrooms, goat’s cheese and sage, or grilled octopus with ratatouille, smoked almonds and preserved lemon. For mains, guests can choose between John Dory with dill and mustard beurre blanc, or a 250g Rangers Valley Black Onyx rump cap with béarnaise or poivre, served with butter lettuce and fries for the table.

Melbourne Theatre Company will be offering theatre goers a chance to step into the haunting world of Daphne du Maurier’s classic 1938 novel with their new production, Rebecca. Happening from 3oth September until 5th November, this timeless tale reinvented the Gothic romance for modern audiences while Alfred Hitchcock’s masterful film adaptation further cemented its legend as one of the iconic tales of the twentieth century. Now Anne-Louise Sarks invites us back to this ghostly manor, conjuring up the living and the dead who haunt its halls.

Ciao Cielo’s has released a delicious new Sunday lunch offer, the Algherese Paella di Catalan. This spring, the venue is offering an alternative to the typical Sunday roast, and invites guests to enjoy the traditional Sardinian dish, originating from Alghero, a town with a strong Catalan heritage. A variation of Spanish paella, the dish replaces rice with fregula and is served in a cast iron pan with a medley of scampi, prawns, mussels, calamari, fish, tomato and saffron.
