The last couple of months we’ve seen a new wave of foodies step up their home cooking game on Instagram and provide us all with some much-needed inspiration.
Instagram is all too often a black hole of endless #inspo accounts, however, it’s the accounts that don’t take themselves or the dish they’re cooking too seriously that we’re after.
We went on the hunt to find those cult IG’s that intentionally leave out all the pompous technical cooking jargon and instead replace it with homegrown ‘how-to’ content we can really get around.
Here, we round up our six of our favourite accounts that quickly found their way to our save page.
Be warned, these six ladies might be new to the foodie world but each of them is already well respected in their own fields. Expect to meet a recent Le Cordon Bleu graduate, a runner up in 2020 BBC’s Britains Best Home Cook and Anna Wintour’s ex-assistant.
