Mount Pleasant x Bentley Restaurant and Bar Dinner

Mount Pleasant’s inaugural release of their museum range is this Friday 11th of November. Sydney-based wine enthusiasts will have the opportunity to try the wines from the acclaimed Bentley Restaurant and Bar without traveling to the Hunter Valley. A dinner will be held on Wednesday 23rd November hosted by chief winemaker Adrian Sparks, and will be paired with a three-course dinner of chef Brent Savage’s innovative and inventive food.

an elegant, European-style grand brasserie opens in Sydney’s CBD

The Charles Grand Brasserie & Bar is an elegant grand brasserie and a relaxed café and bar à vin from the team that brought us Loulou Bistro, Boulangerie, and Traiteur in Milsons Point. Step inside the impressive, heritage-listed art deco reception then choose your adventure. To the left, an all-day dining café and bar à vin that begins with coffees and breakfast, and ends on late-night snacks, cocktails, and wines by the glass.

 

The Marion Opens their deck for lunch

The Marion restaurant launches an elegant lunch menu alongside high tea on their deck, boasting magnificent views over Lake Burley Griffin. Led by head chef Matthew Ouwerkerk, who brings close to 15 years of experience cooking in well-established restaurants across Sydney, Melbourne and London, the menu focuses on quality sustainable and seasonal produce with global-inspired flavours.

 

Chiswick

Chiswick launches the Gardens of Arcadia

Chiswick has launched a stunning spring collaboration with Hendrick’s: The Gardens of Arcadia. There will be a gorgeous event at Chiswick, taking place from 5 pm on Friday, 11th November. Both evenings will feature a bespoke snack menu, Hendrick’s Gin cocktails, and the opportunity for guests to pick their own garnishes from Chiswick’s kitchen garden. No bookings are required.

 

Belongil Beach Italian Food Vibrant new Summer menu

Maurice Terzini  Byron Bay venue Belongi Beach Italian Food has launched a vibrant new menu for the warmer month. The venue celebrates local producers, the community and of course stays true to its Italo-Aussie menu.  Menu highlights include Esperenza Farm Porchetta with Salsa Verde, Grilled Market Fish Fillet, and the Charcoal Roasted Spatchcock.

 

Bar Tikram

Bar Tikram Opens Up at The star Sydney

After a year and half-long closure, Bar Tikram has reopened at The Star Sydney with a mouthwatering mezze-style menu that puts the aromas, colours, and flavours of the Middle East at the forefront. Inspired by the authentic cooking techniques, sauces, and spices of Lebanese culinary culture, everything on the menu at Bar Tikram comes straight from their on-site wood-fired oven.

 

Lancemore Milawa is now open for guests

Dean and Nancy, Chin Chin and more welcome Old Fashioned Week

From Saturday, 5th November to Monday, 14th November, over 200 of the country’s finest bars, including Sydney favourites Dean and Nancy on 22, Chin Chin and The Baxter Inn will partner with Woodford Reserve to offer a twist on the American classic cocktail and pay homage to the Old Fashioned with new serves, cocktail-making masterclasses and special promotions across ten days. 

 

 Wagyu Cheeseburger, fries and a glass of Grange!

ESQ has recently relaunched their speakeasy-inspired venue. The New York-inspired venue transports diners back in time to the prohibition era with vintage styling, smooth jazz, and swing bands all set within a captivating dining room. Excitingly, ESQ has this week launched an extremely noteworthy lunch special available from Wednesday to Sunday. Treat yourself to an ESQ Special and enjoy a glass of Penfolds ‘Bin 95 Grange’ Shiraz accompanied by the Wagyu cheeseburger with gruyère cheese, house ketchup, pickle, and fries.

 

Justin North opens A chicken shop concept in Noosa

Justin North has launched JD’s Chicken Co in Noosa – a contemporary roast chicken shop with a focus on classic dishes and family recipes. “We wanted to create something that was centered around the traditional French rotisserie but with a contemporary twist,” says North, who is renowned for his produce-driven food philosophy and passion for innovation and quality ingredients.
