Rain, Hail Or Shine, This Is Your Sign To Get On Board
Veuve Clicquot on ice, and why The Jackson is the ultimate all-weather harbour plan
On a proper grey Sydney summer day (yes, the one where torrential rain decided to arrive mid- January), I boarded The Jackson Sydney, and quickly forgot the rain ever existed.
Together with Veuve Clicquot, we floated across the harbour, champagne in hand with rain dramatically hitting across the panoramic windows. The harbour moody but still stunning, with a trumpet playing holding court beside a DJ and her decks. It was proof that Sydney never cancels its plans when it rains, and that The Jackson is just as good on a hot, sunny day as it is when the harbour turns moody.

Back for the season, The Jackson Spring – Summer series, is a reminder why Sydney does Summer so well, running from January through April. Think long lunches fuelled by Chandon, golden-hour DJ sets, Veuve Clicquot flowing, and the harbour that never gets old. And trust me, whether it’s sunshine or showers, this is one those experiences that just works regardless.
Book for a celebration, a birthday, or simply just because tickets sell fast, and honestly, even on a rainy day, it’s exactly where you want to be.
