Pocket-Sized Luxury: Meet The Swarovski Mobile That’s As Chic As It Is Practical

Meet the Designer Handbag of Mobile Phones...

It seems more often, we’re all about celebrating the little luxuries in life these days. From the next viral bag charm to a $35 lippie, an Iced Matcha now and then to a pilates membership at a chic studio, it’s the little luxuries that are getting us by day by day.

But how can we extend those little luxuries into more practical daily solutions to keep us feeling that extra little bit special? Is there a way we can glam up our lives a little without buying something unnecessary? This is where essential life upgrades come into play, and where we can look to splurge a little, to upgrade a lot, which is not only good for our hearts, but also our wallets.

For a whole week, I trialled the (absolutely) stunning motorola razr 60 Swarovski mobile phone, and as a die-hard IOS user, I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience of switching over to the ‘bright’ side. Swapping phones is a constant in life, whether you do it every 2, 3, 4, or more years. It’s something that we all have to do at some point, many times over, so why not enjoy it a little bit more and jazz it up where you can? When we talk about money matters and making smart decisions, a practical, reliable mobile phone is one of the best decisions you can make.

For simple phone users (like me) and for the girly girls who are obsessed with crafting a ‘Pinterest-style’ life, I’ve broken down my experience with the motorola razr 60 Swarovski into three clear categories. These are the three components of the phone that made it stand out the most to me, and for those who are in the market for a new mobile phone or are looking to gift a friend, we hope you enjoy reading our guide.

Ease of use:

I never had a flip phone growing up. I was part of the generation that just missed that craze the first time around. That’s why the part of the motorola razr 60 Swarovski that excited me the most was just that, the screen that flips over, and I have to say, it took me by surprise just how handy and simplified it made the whole mobile experience (seriously, why did we ever get rid of flip phones?!).

I found myself using the flip screen for three key uses: Time, Weather, and Photos. Being able to see the time is a standard feature, but the 3.6” external display goes much further, showing full weather updates, all notifications, and photo capabilities without unlocking my phone. That was a standout, and as someone who is constantly on the go (and who rarely wears a watch), having that ease of functionality right at my fingertips was a huge time-saver.

The other benefit of the flip screen was photos, specifically, taking group pics. Once folded over, the screen becomes a ledge for the camera to hold still and take photos, perfect for full-body or group shots where a selfie just won’t cut it. Its smaller frame also meant selfie-style pics were much more comfortable and simple to take. When I didn’t have to hold a large screen and angle it several ways, it turns out you can get the perfect picture at any angle.

Aesthetics:

Launched as part of “The Brilliant Collection”, a collaboration between Motorola and Swarovski, the phone is essentially a slice of luxury in pocket form.
Featuring a leather-inspired 3D quilted finish in Pantone Ice Melt, plus 35 delicately hand-placed Swarovski crystals, including a 26-facet fem on the hinge. It’s the smaller details, including crystal volume keys, that add to a slim, sleek, and refined design that’s light and luxurious to hold.
With this phone, the focus isn’t on reinventing specs, but on reimagining the smartphone as a premium, fashion-forward, and inspired object for the modern, everyday woman.

Listening with Ease:

Alongside the phone itself, I was lucky enough to trial Motorola’s first open-ear earbuds in their iconic Ice Melt colourway (topped with Swarovski crystals). Like sparkling earrings, these powerful earbuds pack a mighty sound thanks to their Sound by Bose and spatial sound technology, where any task, whether music, taking calls, or listening to podcasts, sounds clear and crisp to listen to.

Their open-ear design means these buds sit securely and comfortably on the outer ear for all-day wear. As someone who travels, works, and takes calls all with pods in, I didn’t find any discomfort throughout the day with these on. Compatible with any Bluetooth device and with access to Motorola AI Voice Connect when paired, it was perfect for my day-to-day in the media landscape, constantly taking and delivering calls whilst on the go. With 8 hours of battery on a single charge (and 37 hours in the case), they fit seamlessly into a busy, on-the-go routine.

Final Thoughts:

The Motorola Razr 60 Swarovski edition is perfect for that fashion-forward someone looking to elevate their everyday tech into something stylish, luxurious, and functional. If you’re looking to make the switch from IOS to Android, or if you’re an avid Android user, it’s a very seamless swap-over, and the phone’s simple interface speaks for itself. You’ll have no trouble getting used to this sleek device, and if you’re looking to add a touch of everyday luxury to your routine, it makes a strong case for itself.

The Motorola Razr 60 is available exclusively at Harvey Norman for RRP $1,499. The Moto Buds Loop with Sounds by Bose are available for RRP $399.
