Southern Sydney is set to create a new tradition for New Year’s Eve, with the newly reopened Georges River Sailing Club hosting a bayside celebration that blends live music, unbeatable Botany Bay views. Baptist Street Rec. Club is taking New Year’s Eve back to basics with a throwback house party that swaps big crowds for good company and classic fun. For $79pp, guests get four hours of free-flowing drinks, roaming canapés and a welcome drink on arrival. Doors open from 4pm, with the party officially starting at 7pm. Expect confetti cannons, and a DJ spinning ‘80s and ‘90s hits, capped off with a midnight jelly shot. It’s the ultimate house party vibe, minus the clean-up.

End the year Italian-style at Grana, where Executive Chef Alex Wong is serving a festive feast designed for sharing.
