Maybe Sammy has launched new menu offerings and this time the team has gone cinematic. Showtime is a blockbuster collection of twelve cocktails inspired by cult film and TV moments, rom a Lobby Boy hat gimlet (The Grand Budapest Hotel) to a whiskey sour that unravels like The Shining. Each drink comes with its own short trailer, written and performed by the bartenders themselves.

Delta Rue has launched their new bottomless lunch, Delta Darlings, for $77pp, the table will be filled with seven dishes. Featuring Sydney rock oysters with cumquat and Champagne vinegar, Yellowfin tuna betel leaf with ginger, green mango and young coconut, chargrilled pork skewers, XO mushroom noodles and other share plates, all matched with 90 minutes of free-pouring Aussie wines.

Waterfront restaurant Jaaks has reopened after a renovation to transform the fine-diner into a Greek mezedopolio – Greek for tapas – bar featuring ouzotinis and mini souvlakia by new executive chef Arman Uz. The mini souvlakia showcases everything from unique cuts like swordfish belly to kingfish collar and offal like ox tongue, to more popular ones like wagyu rump camp, halloumi and pork belly.
