Aster rooftop transforms into a cinematic playground of light, luxury, and indulgence with their “Golden Age” during Vivid Sydney. Hollywood Quarter – Surry Hills

On 30th May, Hollywood Quarter will transform Foster and Hunt Streets into a vibrant open-air dining and cultural precinct for Vivid Sydney 2026, with A Taste of HQ: Street Eats Edition bringing together nine of Sydney’s leading chefs for a one-night-only street food collaboration. The event forms the centrepiece of the precinct’s broader Vivid Sydney program, turning the streets into a high-energy, food-led experience as the city comes alive after dark.

Sails – Lavender Bay

Offering postcard views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, Sails will give you a front-row seat to Vivid’s spectacular lights and colours from our waterfront vantage point. On 22nd May, the Vivid Opening Night offering features a 5-course Vivid-inspired tasting menu, $155pp. Continuing on from 23rd May until 13th June, the restaurant will be offering a Vivid 6-Course Menu plus Three experiential cocktails available throughout the festival.

Bennelong – Circular Quay

Darling Pavilion – Darling Harbour

Darling Pavilion is serving up a relaxed, share-style dining experience ideal for groups exploring the festival precinct. Its $65pp set menu is designed for easy group dining, while rotating colourful cocktail specials throughout the festival add a playful Vivid-inspired touch. Positioned in the centre of one of the festival’s busiest hubs, Darling Pavilion makes for an easy stop between installations, live music and nightly events.

Lotus – Barangaroo

Lotus Barangaroo is embracing the colour and energy of Vivid with a limited-edition menu available throughout the festival. Highlights include the vibrant Vivid Dumplings, rainbow coloured and filled with crab, prawn, bamboo shoot, leek and celery, alongside the Electric Blue cocktail.

Whalebridge – Circular Quay

Positioned on the water’s edge, Whalebridge offers front-row views of Sydney Harbour and the Opera House. For the duration of the festival, Whalebridge will be running a shared menu for $75 per person. Guests can enjoy dishes including our twice-baked Comté soufflé, grilled John Dory and Wagyu sirloin, served alongside classic French accompaniments.
