The Dolphin’s 5th installation of their popular Wine Mixer tasting and party series will be held on the 4th of December. With The Point Group’s head Sommelier Shun Eto’s recent trip to Southern Italy, Shun is bringing back some key drops to share not only buy the glass in the Wine Mixer style you’ve come to expect, but also to a masterclass lunch and wine tasting, making this one an all afternoon affair.

Mia Dolci Italiani, an Italian pasticceria will open in Alexandria this December. The converted warehouse space will operate as a cafe serving house-made Italian sweets with a modern twist, focaccia, and specialised chocolates while offering retail and wholesale orders.

Albert Park’s majestic Victorian hotel The Vincent has opened a new summer pop-up called Vinny’s. The new concept welcomes a sun-drenched Mediterranean-inspired menu that celebrates small bites, delicious fresh pasta, spritzes and vino. Vinny’s will launch its Aperitivo Weekends – taking place every Saturday and Sunday, in the courtyard. Think all-day live music performances and DJ sets, as well as a killer cocktail list, priced from $11.

South Yarra’s infamous week-long bottomless brunch restaurant, House of Lulu White has teamed up with the designer cake specialist, Ladybird Cakes, to launch a brand new Bottomless High Tea menu, available every Sunday between 2pm – 4pm. The High Tea will see Gina Tubb – “Miss Ladybird” herself – creating a menu of sweet treats inspired by the house favourites on Lulu’s cocktail menu. In true House of Lulu White spirit, Gina will be adding a slight tipple to each of her treats to perfectly pair with 90 minutes of sipping on bottomless cocktails and bubbles.

St Kilda’s Post Office Club Hotel has re-opened its doors with a brand-new restaurant, bar, and an all-day deli – the Little Postie. With a fare of seasonal dishes that nod to French cuisines, such as classic dishes of Steak Frites with sauce Poivre and tarragon mustard and steaming bowls of Moules Frites.
