En-Route sat down with Aaron Chatterley, founder of tween/teen skincare line Indu, to discuss the benefits of using skincare specifically formulated for younger skin, and why the habits you build in your teenage years can have a lasting impact later in life.

The brand, which has just launched in Australian Sephora stores following a successful debut in the UK, combines simple, effective formulas with easy-to-follow routines made to those aged 11–19. Ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, along with pre and probiotics, were carefully selected for their gentle, hydrating properties, that help to cleanse and support young skin without relying on the harsher actives often found in products designed for adults.

Our key takeaway from Chatterley, who developed the brand with insights from his own teenage daughters, was simple: healthy skincare habits start early. Begin with gentle, hydrating formulas that support the skin, then gradually introduce stronger actives in your 20s and beyond. Your teenage years are all about building routines that last.
