You heard it here: Tennis fashion has arrived and it’s here in a BIG way.

In past, this style has been reserved only for the sporty among us and it only dared frequent on-court sessions. But the tennis dress is now making its foray into the daywear scene and I’m not mad about it.

Lethal backhand or not, I’m going to peg this as one of Spring’s biggest style debuts — I mean there’s not much it doesn’t have… comfort? Check. Style? Check. Cute factor? check.

Maybe this is athleisure breathing new life into the dress category or perhaps it’s a natural progression among fashion leaders making on-court fashion, off-court acceptable, but either way, I will be (already have) adding this to my sartorial toolkit. Anchored in classic country club style and easily identified by their mix of crisp and off whites, athletic colour blocking and minimal logo-mania additions.

Pick your vibe, pair it with your court best tube socks and sneakers and you’ve got yourself game, set, match.
