Support Aussie Artisan Week
With Pepe Saya’s new initiative
This year Aussie’s are looking to support local produce more than ever. There is a real sense of community, with many Australian’s looking to purchase 100% Aussie products directly from local producers.
Our favourite rich and creamy Australian butter brand Pepe Saya wants Aussies to keep the momentum going. Pepe Saya is encouraging this momentum by supporting and announcing Aussie Artisan Week (August 17 – 23).
Aussie Artisan Week encourages all Australians to consciously choose to support and purchase Australian-made products, buying directly from artisans where they can.
“We’ve been incredibly appreciative of all our customers who have supported us by buying Pepe Saya through our online store over the past four months,” says Pierre Issa, butter maker and co-founder Pierre Issa.
“We’ve realised that Australians do value Australian made, and we want to continue to share how many amazing options there are out there from dairy to meat, fresh veg and even homewares. Plus, why it’s better all-around when you buy small and buy local. The product comes to you fresh, the process is more sustainable, and the money you spend goes directly back into the Australian economy.”
Aussie Artisan Week runs August 17 – 23. During this week Pepe Saya asks all Australians to shop locally and share their artisan-made purchases using the hashtag #AussieArtisanWeek
Another great way to support Aussie producers is by shopping at The Carrigeworks Farmers Markets. The markets reopened on August 8th, and it’s not only a great market to purchase your weekly produce, but it supports over 70 NSW producers.
Carriageworks Farmers Market, every Saturday 8 am-1 pm.
