Being an avid traveller and often dining out at the latest in the dining scene, for me as of late, spending a night in on the couch seems to be a repetitive occurrence. Yes, despite that it’s cold out, I think we’ve all got used to just how relaxing a night in can be. 

I have quite the foodie bond with my favourite restaurants, which is why I love that so many of them have made takeout a priority now.

Having lived on the Lower North Shore for the last 8 years, I’ve collected a small list of takeout options to which I’d say I’m very loyal to.

Giovanni’s Pizza  

Giovanni’s Pizza in Cammeray is run by the same guys who own Maggio’s just a few shops up the road.

Maggio’s is a cafe founded by three brothers over 22 years ago and is now a Cammeray institution. It was certain that their new venture, Giovanni’s pizza, was always going to be a hit.

Shorties 

Shorties in Lane Cove jumped on the takeout bandwagon whilst restaurants were closed, it was such a hit they had to keep their takeout menu going. Takeout cocktails are also a thing here.
