The Hunter Valley boasts some of the top wineries Australia has to offer. Driving from each one can be a chore especially if your whole crew wants to sip and taste, the best options are booking a tour such as Urban Legends Tour Co or finding a located that is walkable to cellar doors nearby.

Some walkable tastings include Brokenwood Wines, which is close to well known wineries McGuigan and Tempus Two. Another option is the stunning Vamp by Lisa McGuigan which is next door to Savannah Estate‘s cellar door and just across the road from Hope Estate.

The Hunter Valley is a haven for food enthusiasts. Whether you’re seeking delectable homemade baked goods, exquisite wine pairings or fine dining establishments, you’ll find it all just a short drive from one another.

Some great dining options include the Legends Restaurant is known for it’s dynamic menu focused on seasonal and local produce and try top of the line wine of course. And Myrtle & Stone, a charming tapas and gin bar  housed in an old stone and wood cottage.
