Every season we can expect to be left with one fashion girl uniform — it’s that recognisable, head to toe look that our social media feeds deemed absolutely necessary.

This season — using my Instagram explore page as gospel — has uncovered one particular look that I can’t stop obsessing over when it flashes on my feed, one I am deeming this winters ultimate fashion girl uniform.

Now, it’s hard to pinpoint its exact origin, however, there’s a part of me that thinks the queen of daytime dressing, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley may have had something to do with it, judging by this Instagram post here.

It’s a subtle take on relaxed office attire and striking in its simplicity. Seemingly there are few rules when bringing this look to life and if I were to break it down for you in 3 simple steps, they would look at little something like this:

Step 1: Start with your favourite white tank top

Step 2: Pair that with your best-relaxed fit trousers – ideally keeping this to a neutral colour palette such a nude, sand, tan or even grey.

Step 3: Go for layering in every sense of the word. Layer a boyfriend fit white shirt over your tank, stack those gold chains and call it a day because your work here is done.
