Your FYP Is Wearing DISSH This Winter: Here’s Why You Should Be Too

Your Winter Wardrobe Awaits...

If you’ve noticed an influx of DISSH all over your FYP lately, there’s a very good reason for it. The brand’s AW26 collection has officially landed, and naturally, it’s already taking over our wishlists and moodboards.

From its impossibly chic marble-topped boutiques that were made for your Instagram stories, to runway-worthy drops that somehow arrive exactly when your wardrobe starts feeling tired (seriously, how do they always know?) Aussie women can’t seem to get enough of the local label, and when there’s this much substance behind the aesthetic, it’s easy to see why.

Inspired by the many hats women wear every single day, their newest AW26 campaign, starring Australian mother Lisa Green photographed inside her Byron Bay hinterland home, captures the kind of effortless, unfiltered confidence DISSH has become known for (think equal parts polished and real). It’s the outfit changes that carry you from early AM coffee runs to late-night drive-thru dinners, soft knits and cosy layers that take you alongside the quieter, messier moments in between all of life’s offerings (yes, even the dreaded but sometimes necessary bed rot).

The collection itself is designed to move with real life. Silky cupro fabrics, cosy wool blends, layered knits, and cropped trenches that balance comfort with elevated dressing. It’s the pieces that work just as hard as the women wearing them, and whether you’re reading this in your downtime or sitting at your desk job (or anywhere else busy, really), we know you can relate all too well.

But this goes beyond the wardrobe. DISSH is shining a light on some pretty important values behind the scenes, particularly when it comes to supporting women in the workplace and creating meaningful pathways for women returning to work.

This year, the brand introduced Stage Four of its Paid Parental Leave Program, adding an extra two weeks of paid leave annually for parents and carers with children aged between 0 and 12. The initiative is designed to support the unpredictable realities of modern family life, from school transitions and milestones to illness and caregiving. And the statistics speak for themselves: Australian women earn, on average, $1 million less than men across their careers, while earnings drop by an average of 55% in the first five years of parenting. For men, earnings typically remain unchanged.

For DISSH, the message here is simple: career and caregiving shouldn’t be mutually exclusive. Or, as DISSH says it best when asked how a business made up of 94% women affords a Paid Parental Leave Program: “We can’t afford not to.”

The brand is also backing women through the Mary McConnel Career Boost Program. In partnership with the Children’s Hospital Foundation, DISSH has pledged $450,000 over three years to fund three female researchers annually (can we get a hallelujah?!) In a time when women account for just 20% of senior academics across Australian universities and research institutes, the program provides financial support and flexibility for women pursuing careers in research without sacrificing family life. It’s tangible, measurable change, and exactly the kind of initiative we want to see more brands investing in, especially when it comes to fighting the good fight over here.
