#LGG To Styling Your Balcony
With everyone's favourite weekend destination
City living is the norm for most of us, but it’s often the most forgotten of all the spaces in our homes — but it’s the one with the most potential.
Make your outdoor space (be it big or small) you’re own private oasis suited to evening wines with a friend, a Sunday cheese board or just a place to enjoy that morning sun over coffee.
See how we did it below in partnership with everyone’s favourite weekend destination, Bunnings.
Lucy Alcorn
For us, it was all about bringing the indoors outdoors; a space suited to midday lounging.
We began by framing the entrance of the balcony with sheer curtains. This really set the scene and offered a sense of tranquillity and peace. The white sheer curtains offered the softness the space needed while offsetting our selected colour palette of bold greens, natural wood and muted grey.
We weighted each side of the space with two pairs of lounge chairs being these Marquee Olive Acapulco Chairs and wooden lounge chairs, similar here.
We wanted one longer 3-seater lounge to be the feature of the space and pulled the lounge together with a flat-weave, outdoor rug.
We carried through the Miami Cool styling theme with three olive green cushions topped off with the addition of a stone coffee table playing centrepiece.
A space designed for absolute comfort.
