Thanks to the pandemic, fashion weeks have been a miss the past few years – but thankfully this year’s Fall/Winter shows brought us the stunning styles and trends straight from New York, London and Paris. Supermodels walked the runway while stylists walked the streets, we watched on as the fashion world came to a halt to critique over what we’ll all be buying and wearing for the year to come. 

NEW YORK FASHION WEEK

The big apple never disappoints, even outside of fashion week their streets are filled with the freshest fits – you’d be hard done not to find locals effortlessly draped in the latest trends. Zimmermann and Dion Lee graced the runways to proudly represent Australian fashion, other notable designers that featured were Tory Burch, Carolina Herrera and Jason Wu. Some of the trends to come out of NYFW were western, statement headwear, knit sets and trench coats.

LONDON FASHION WEEK

English fashion is known for preppiness with an edge, this year the brits burst back onto the fashion scene in a big way. From baby doll dresses at Simone Rocha and Bora Aksu to checkerboard prints on the streets, this F/W season was a perfect mix of lady-like flows to masculine fits.

Paris fashion week

The crème de la crème of fashion week and as expected, Paris delivered some stellar shows. With 90s supermodels showing out at the Off-White show to pay tribute to their late designer Virgil Abloh to Miu Miu taking it back the noughties with mini skirts. PFW was all about high necks, baggy jeans and feathers… What a mix!
