Surry Hills’ newly opened neighbourhood wine bar, 40Res, has just launched their new fine dining series. Inspired by Chef-Owner Josh Raine’s over 20 years’ experience in Michelin-starred kitchens around the world, HI-RES is a refined monthly degustation menu that brings an elevated fine dining experience to the venue’s signature relaxed atmosphere.

Etheus, the new beachside Greek restaurant from House Made Hospitality has officially opened. Taking over the former Promenade dining room at Bondi Pavilion and led by Executive Chef Chris Benedet and Head Chef Stav Stavrou. The fire-fuelled menu leans into traditional Greek cooking, think tirokafteri whipped with blistered red peppers, slow-cooked beef stifado baked in terracotta, and prawn saganaki finished with ouzo.

The Strand Hotel in Darlinghurst has unveiled a new look, a new direction and most excitingly, a new burger-led menu. Curated by Toby Wilson (executive chef at Ricos Tacos, The Norfolk) and Solotel’s Executive Chef Hamish Ingham, the menu features a line-up of six cracking burgers, from the classic Smashed Burger to a standout Prawn Burger.

This September, Three Blue Ducks marks its 15th anniversary, celebrating a decade and a half of honest, seasonal cooking, ethical hospitality, and connection to community. To celebrate the 15th anniversary, the Ducks will host a birthday party at their Rosebery venue on 10th September. For just $30 per person, guests can enjoy a bowl of pasta paired with a glass of house wine (red, white or rosé).
