Hello! Bec here, welcome back to my Friday round-up of everything that’s caught our attention this week. Here, you’ll find a quick snapshot from the week that’s passed including new product launches, newsworthy gossip and everything else in between to keep you in the know.
Australian footwear label Alias Mae has released a collaboration with homewares brand Hommey. The iconic Australian duo has found an incredible common ground through the creation of all interior lover’s dreams, a bouclé slider. Combining Hommey’s super soft bouclé fabrication with a staple design, the ‘Claude’ slider is perfect to wear in & out of the home without compromising on comfort.
FENDI launched their Peekaboo Capsule Collection, a special signature selection celebrating the iconic shape created by Silvia Venturini Fendi. The iconic Peekaboo bag has become FENDI’s most iconic bag since its creation in 2009.
Danish fashion brand GANNI has announced its first venture into extended sizing with a capsule collection in collaboration with 11 Honoré. LOVE DROP features 10 responsibly-made styles in sizes 06 – 24 AU.
Turkish brand NOCTURNE has launched in Australia. Created in Istanbul in 2012, the brand has earned a reputation as one of Europe’s top womenswear labels, known for delivering beautifully crafted pieces that make a statement without breaking the bank.
SIR the Label launched their Resort 22 collection. Shot on the edge of Western Australia’s tip anchoring the storyline for Resort 2022, its land held in balance by traditional Aboriginal custodians and elders, and a place of special significance for SIR founders Nikki Campbell and Sophie Coote.

Return to Rio has announced the line-up for their Halloween festival taking place in February ’22.
The weekend will include dancing, dress-ups and classic Rio-reveling. With an all-star local line-up featuring the likes of Sneaky Sound System, Dirty South, Anthony Pappa, Simon Caldwell and more than 40 other artists.

The 68th Sydney Film Festival has announced that 2021’s festival will be going ahead in November. The Festival will present 233 films from 69 countries, bringing together hundreds of international and local stories.

Milpa Collective opens two of their three new Sydney-based venues the Casa Mérida and Santa Catarina. Casa Mérida will opens 19th October on Kellett St in Potts Point and Santa Catarina will open their doors on 2nd November in Sydney’s CBD.
